Mood Diary Template: Your Personal Emotional Tracker

Track and reflect on your emotions with this Mood Diary template. Identify patterns, improve mental well-being, and stay mindful every day.
An emotion diary starts with one concrete moment: what happened, how you felt and what you want to remember. This template gives you emotion checkboxes and four spaces to write, rather than an empty page.
What is already in the template
The original template is in English. It includes emotion checkboxes such as happiness, worried and annoyed, followed by Why?, Highs, Lows and Reflections/Notes. You can rename the headings and emotion labels in your own copy. It is a page with checklists and writing spaces, not a database or an automatic mood chart.

A completed entry to use as an example
This is a fictional example, not an entry already saved in the template:
- My mood is: worried and relieved.
- Why? A meeting was moved at short notice. I felt rushed, then relieved after agreeing on a new deadline.
- Highs: I asked a colleague for help and finished the most important task.
- Lows: I skipped lunch while trying to catch up.
- Reflections/Notes: Tomorrow I will leave a gap between meetings and set aside time for lunch.
One or two sentences per section are enough. Record a specific event instead of trying to explain your whole day.
How to make your first entry
- Open the template and use the copy control to add it to your workspace. Sign in if prompted.
- Put the date in the title of your copied page, then select the emotions that fit.
- Fill in the four writing spaces using your own words.
- Keep an unfilled copy for the next day. Create another copy for a new entry so previous notes remain separate.
The template does not create dated entries automatically. The example above is a guide for filling in your copy; it does not add new fields or sample records to the original template.
